Refund Policy

The purpose of this policy is to establish the terms under which Emirates Visa Online is liable to reimburse any amount to the users or customers. The terms of this policy apply to all previous and current users or customers of our website and services. In the policy, references to “we”, “us”, and “our” pertain to Emirates Visa Online. While terms like “you” and “your” and customer, users, and client refer to the users or our customers. Read all the terms and conditions of the Refund Policy carefully before you submit any information or use any service from our website.

Interpretation of Terminology

Some of the terms used in the document are mentioned below. These terms will refer to the meaning mentioned below.

1. Service Fees: It is the cost you must pay for services in compliance with their Terms and Conditions.

2. Refund Eligibility Criteria: It refers to the criteria set by the organization to define who is eligible for a refund.

3. Refund Request Form: The form you must complete to initiate the refund request.

4. Issuing Bank: The bank that issued you the card you used for the transaction.

5. Transaction Charges: These are the costs that a bank or other financial institution imposes after processing an authorized refund request.

6. Optional Services: This includes all value-added, extra, and premium services we explain and make available on our website.

7. Chargeback: This implies that a customer or you (if applicable) using the online payment gateway reports a dispute or fraudulent transaction to the card issuer bank.

Eligibility for Refunds

If you want to apply for a refund, please read and understand all the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

1. In all cases, Visa application fees and the service charge are non-refundable. Even if the visa application is rejected, the entire amount is non-refundable.

2. Visa application approval/rejection and processing time is at the sole discretion of the immigration and solely under the jurisdiction of UAE immigration officials. We do not have any control over this. The decision of the Immigration Department is final. In case of rejection of visa application, no correspondence will be entertained, no visa payments or service charges will be reimbursed, and no justifications must be provided.

3. Issuing a visa or approving a visa application does not give the applicant a right to the country. The entry is at the sole discretion of the Immigration officer at the airport. In case of denial of entry, Emirates Visa Online shall not be liable in any manner.

4. Emirates Visa Online cannot be held liable if your visa application is rejected.

5. If you cancel the service, you may be entitled to a partial refund only if your documents have NOT been submitted for processing. A USD 50 processing fee will be deducted.

6. Refunds for credit card payments older than 40 days cannot be processed. Store credit may be issued instead.

7. Visa applications may require additional processing time depending on immigration.

8. Additional documents may be required on a case-to-case basis.

9. Prices may change anytime without notice.

10. Visas issued are not work permits.

11. Any penalties imposed by the destination country must be borne by the traveler.

12. Additional charges like courier, photo, attestation, immigration visits, etc., are borne by the applicant.

13. Service fees/processing fees are always non-refundable.

14. Delays in visa processing are not grounds for a refund.

15. Our role is limited to facilitating the visa application; visa approval is solely at the discretion of the immigration authorities.

Visa Cancellation Fee

If the customer cancels their visa application voluntarily before processing or approval, cancellation fees may apply depending on embassy/consulate regulations.

Refund Process and Timeline

1. Request Submission: Submit your refund request online/email/customer support.

2. Initial Review (1–3 business days)

3. Approval/Denial (1–5 business days)

4. Processing Time (3–10 business days)

5. Refund Issued

6. Confirmation Notification (optional)

7. Completion — Refund credited to your bank/payment method.

Security Deposit Policy

For certain nationalities, UAE immigration may require a refundable security deposit. This amount will be refunded only after exit confirmation from UAE Immigration.

Refund Eligibility & Processing

  • Refund only after confirmed exit from UAE.
  • Standard processing: 20–30 working days.
  • In rare cases, refunds may take 6 months to 5 years due to bank restrictions.

Refund Mode & Voucher Option

  • If refund cannot be credited to your account, a travel voucher may be issued.
  • Voucher can be used for UAE visa applications, travel insurance, flights, hotels, transfers, tours, etc.
  • Voucher validity: 12 months.

Refund Deductions

  • Refundable amount = 70% of deposit.
  • 30% non-refundable for immigration fees, bank charges, exchange differences, admin costs.
  • All transaction charges are borne by the applicant.

Forfeiture of Security Deposit

  1. Overstay beyond visa duration.
  2. Failure to exit UAE.
  3. Penalties, fines, blacklisting.
  4. False/misleading information.
  5. Non-cooperation in verification.
  6. Bank/payment gateway restrictions.

Final Terms

  • Refund depends strictly on UAE Immigration approval.
  • UAE Visa Online is not liable for delays or partial refunds beyond our control.
  • By submitting the application, you fully accept these refund & deposit terms.
